Tooling

Two factors affect tooling: communication about specifications, and precision engineering. Our CAD/CAM capabilities allow you to directly link your computer systems with ours for fast and accurate communication. And our tooling equipment is cutting-edge. Our electrical discharge machines - or wire EDMs - are accurate to within .0002 of an inch. Our tooling technology also includes a Clausing Kondia jig bore machine featuring a Proto Traks Plus control system, combining the simplicity of manual machining with the capability of full CNC control.

Die components and fixtures are built in-house, and maintained on-site at no charge for the life of the part, or until engineering specifications change.

Welding

Our complete welding capabilities include: up to 150 KVA spot welders (with a material thickness of .010 to .250; total thickness to .500 in mild steel). Our 150 KVA spot welder can spot-weld multiple spot-welds on cold-rolled and stainless steel. Our 75 KVA three-phase spot welder can weld aluminum to a total thickness of .125.

We also specialize in:

• robotics,
• heli-arc welding of aluminum, stainless, cold-rolled and medium and high-carbon steels,
• wire feed welding on stainless and cold-rolled steel, and cold wire tig,
• oxygen-acetylene metal joining through brazing and silver soldering,
