Laser Operator Apprentice - 3:00pm - 1:00am, Monday - Thursday (must train on 1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm, Mon - Fri)

Starting Pay – $18.50-$21.50/hour

Clow Stamping Company is looking for a motivated Laser Operator Apprentice to join our Laser Department. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and grow their career in manufacturing. You’ll receive hands-on training to operate precision laser cutting machinery, gaining the knowledge and experience needed to become a skilled Laser Operator.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn to operate laser cutting machines to produce precision parts.

  • Retrieve raw materials using forklift and crane equipment.

  • Load programs and assist with troubleshooting the laser control system.

  • Monitor cutting operations to maintain part quality.

  • Inspect finished parts, remove tabs, and organize parts per work instructions.

  • Work closely with experienced operators and supervisors as you develop your skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 6–12 months of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and retain technical knowledge.

  • Willingness to obtain forklift and crane certification (training provided by Clow).

  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to train on 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Laser Production Assistant - shift 16 (3:00PM - 1:00AM, Monday - Thursday)

Starting Pay: $19.75- $21.50/ hour.

Clow Stamping Company is hiring a Laser Production Assistant to support operations in our Laser Department. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are key. As a Production Assistant, you’ll play an important part in preparing, inspecting, and finishing laser-cut parts to keep production running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs; remove defects to meet quality standards.

  • Clear and maintain laser beds to ensure continuous, efficient production.

  • Use grinders, sanders, and finishing tools to prepare parts for the next stage of production.

  • Maintain a clean, organized Laser/Detab Department.

  • Use ERP dispatch and a forklift to gather, transport, and store jobs accurately.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 6–12 months of relevant experience required; experience with hand tools preferred.

  • Ability to identify and remove burrs, tabs, and slag from parts.

  • Proficiency in using grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift certification (training provided by Clow).

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Forklift Operator - Shipping Department - 4:00AM - 2:00PM or 5:00Am - 3:00PM

What are the hours for each shift and do they pay more?

Shift 01: 6 am – 2 pm Monday through Friday
Shift 02: 2 pm – 10 pm Monday through Friday
Shift 03: 10 pm – 6 am Sunday through Thursday
Shift 11: 6 am – 4 pm Monday through Thursday
Shift 13: 4 am – 2 pm Monday through Thursday
Shift 14: 2 pm – 12 am Monday through Thursday
Shift 15: 5 am – 3 pm Monday through Thursday
Shift 16: 3pm  – 1am Monday through Thursday
Shift 21: 6 am – 6 pm Friday through Sunday

Shift premiums are assigned based on the work schedule.

Will I have to work overtime?

Due to the nature of our work and the need to coordinate our working hours with a wide range of vendors, customers and other business partners, changes in work schedules, and work locations, required overtime and travel may be necessary.

What candidate screenings are required?

All job offers are contingent on passing a background check, drug test, and job placement physical assessment.

Do I have to wear Personal Protective Equipment?

An assessment is made of all departments to determine if hazards are present, or likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment.

Do you have an attendance policy?

Timely and consistent attendance are crucial. Absences without proper notification or justification may result in termination, especially if absent for three consecutive days without notifying or obtaining approval. Maintaining good attendance, punctuality, and honest communication about unavoidable absences or lateness are essential for successful employment.
