Tool Room Apprentice

Starting Pay Range: $18.50 – $21.50/ hour

Looking for a hands-on career where you can learn real skills and build something long term? Clow Stamping Company is hiring a Tool Room Apprentice with a clear path to becoming a Toolmaker.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, work with precision equipment, and grow within manufacturing.

Schedule You Can Plan Around

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Senior Welder

Starting Pay Range: $20.14 – $28.68 per hour

Clow Stamping Company is seeking Experienced Welders to support hand welding operations on the production floor. This role is responsible for producing high-quality welds, performing equipment setups and adjustments, verifying weld quality, and supporting other welders through inspection, mentoring, and technical guidance.

Senior Welders work with a high level of independence and play an important role in maintaining weld quality, supporting production flow, and assisting leadership as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Complete production orders through hand welding and/or robotic welding, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
  • Set up, adjust, and optimize new and existing robotic welding programs
  • Verify and adjust welding parameters to meet quality requirements
  • Conduct initial and in-process inspections and approve parts that meet specifications
  • Perform double-check inspections on work completed by Welders, Robotic Welders, and Senior Robotic Welders
  • Document production activity using the shop floor dispatch system

About the Role

As a Press Brake Operator, you’ll operate precision press brake machines to manufacture parts according to blueprints and work orders. About the Role

As a Press Operator in our Large Press Department, you’ll be responsible for operating heavy-duty metal punch presses to manufacture precision parts. This hands-on position involves performing tooling setups, loading materials, and ensuring each part meets Clow’s high-quality standards. You’ll work closely with your Lead to strengthen your knowledge of blueprints, shop procedures, and inspection processes while contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Operate large metal punch presses safely and accurately according to work orders and blueprints.

Deburring Operator

Starting Pay Range: $19.25 – $21.00/hour

Clow Stamping Company is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Deburring Operator to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with metal parts using tumblers, sanders, dryers, and other tools to remove sharp edges and create a clean, finished product. This is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in manufacturing with on-the-job training and room to grow.

We currently have openings on Shift 16 (3:00 PM – 1:00AM)

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate tumblers and dryers to deburr and finish metal parts to quality specifications
  • Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure high standards are met
  • Weigh, count, and track parts for production using scales and computer systems
  • Use the NAV system for inventory, part ordering, and logging production
  • Collaborate with forklift drivers and teammates to keep material flow moving smoothly

This role is responsible for independently operating laser equipment, programming and optimizing jobs, maintaining part quality, and supporting other operators through mentoring and quality verification.

This position is intended for operators who can work with minimal supervision, make real-time process adjustments, and take ownership of production flow and quality outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Operate laser cutting equipment to produce parts that meet job specifications and quality requirements
  • Retrieve and stage raw materials using forklifts and cranes
  • Load, modify, and optimize laser programs to support accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor cutting processes and adjust settings to meet customer requirements
  • Inspect finished parts, detab as needed, and organize parts per work instructions
  • Program new laser jobs using CAD and PEP software

This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, inspecting parts for quality, running production independently, and providing support for the Lead Machinist as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, vertical mills, tapping centers, and grinders, to produce precision parts
  • Ensure adherence to production quotas and quality standards
  • Inspect parts and maintain detailed documentation of production progress
  • Assist other Machinists as needed with production and quality tasks
  • Support the Lead Machinist by filling in during their absence, assigning tasks, and providing on-the-job training to develop team skills

Experienced Toolmaker

Clow Stamping Company is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to construct, maintain, and repair tooling and fixtures used in the production of parts for OEMs. This hands-on role involves cutting, assembling, diagnosing, and repairing tooling issues, operating toolroom equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, and grinders, and building, developing, or reverse engineering complex form tools.

What You Will Do

  • Build, assemble, and repair tooling and fixtures ranging from basic blanks and pierce tools to complex form, extrusion, and press brake tools
  • Fabricate specialized tools such as chamfer tools, form tools, pierce-after-form tools, and machining and welding fixtures
  • Diagnose tooling and fixture issues and perform in-process and next-run repairs
  • Support production by troubleshooting tooling-related issues in the press, including adjustments, shimming, and modifications
  • Prepare new jobs by cutting, deburring, and processing tooling plates and tool steel, including preparation for heat treatment

You will work closely with experienced welders to learn industry techniques, safety practices, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks under the guidance of skilled welders, including MIG, TIG, and occasional robotic welding operations

  • Prepare materials and equipment for welding tasks

What are the hours for each shift and do they pay more?
